Hi there,
As a 40-something who has never really been into games (PacMan, Space
Invaders - sad I know:-) I am looking for some games to play across the LAN
at home.
My girlfriend has a 14 year old boy who is games crazy and I am going to
build him a PC ( he already has PS/2, DS, Gamecube etc.)
I was hoping to be able to play some games across the LAN and wondered if
there is a resource out there that might give a listing of what games are
available?
I am guessing that we will be going down the 'simple' game route - that is
not Doom/Quake/Unreal type shoot-em ups but more along the lines of arcade
driving/flying type of games?
As a complete non-gamer I still have fond memories of games such as Plane
Crazy and Falcon that unfortunately are not available any more and figured
there must have been many advances in LAN games since then?
I wonder if there may also be a chess type of game available (boring I know)
but a complete listing of LAN-aware games would be ideal if such a thing
exists?
