Hi,
I just bought an USB small mp3 player: ZicPlay 512 Mb without FM radio.
I converted some CD's to MP3 and put the MP3 files on the key, but
the quality is so poor that I really can't listen to it.
Played on my computer the same MP3 files are absolutely fine!
Maybe the quality is *too high* for such a small toy?
I don't know much about MP3 and I couldn't undertsnad what would be
the best choices for converting the files.
Since I use 'lame' which has many options, I wonder wether I can get better
or no. What I did for the moment is something like
~ > cdparanoia "1" - | lame -h --tt "As Time Goes By"
--ta 'Dooley Wilson with Ingrid Bergman'
--tl 'Casablanca' - casablanca.mp3
I also tried without the '-h' flag but it is not better at all.
