I know that this unit does not receive HD per sé, but I wonder if
anyone else out there is trying to marry it to an HD box/TV. The TV
that is coming in my case will be the XS955.
It seems that the best that I'll be able to run into the DVR is
composite. What happens when you record from HD? Does it downconvert
the sognal or give you a nice, blank screen?
Also, is there any benefit to using component from the box to the TV
when just watching HD (not recording) if the box is connected to the
DVR through COmposite?
