Thanks very much for the replies.
The internal digital tuner works as expected (i.e Freeview channels). I
was hoping however to record from the analogue channels RTE1 and RTE2
that we have access to with the TV in standby mode. I can of course
record from these via LINE1 on the recorder but ONLY if the TV is left
on. I just assumed I could also do this with the TV in standby mode but
perhaps not?
