THE BEST OF SEASON 2, FULL HOUSE: SEASON 3, ROSEANNE: THE COMPLETE THIRD
SEASON, THE SECRET LIFE OF GEISHA, and SIX FEET UNDER: THE COMPLETE
FIFTH SEASON:

BABY LOONEY TUNES: LET'S PLAY PRETEND (VOLUME 2) (reviewed by David
Johnson, overall score 80/100):
"There are worse ways for little kids to kill 48 minutes, that's for
sure (like, playing with mom's iron)."

DOCTOR WHO: THE BEGINNING (reviewed by Eric Profancik, overall
score 90/100):
"I love these Doctor Who DVDs. Look at the incredible assortment of
material you get above and beyond these historic stories. It's an
amazing and impressive feat of love."

DOG: THE BOUNTY HUNTER: THE BEST OF SEASON 2 (reviewed by Ryan Keefer,
overall score 70/100):
"The Dog does what he can to help those that perhaps can't or don't have
the chance to get back on their feet, and living on an island full of
generous, loving people, he gives them something that they haven't had
in a long time."

FULL HOUSE: SEASON 3 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 75/100):
"The body was found 10 hours later. Fifteen minutes after that, the
Tanner house was flooded with police, the medical examiner, reporters,
and, eventually the coroner. That look of surprise stayed etched on the
victim's face, even as the coroner pulled the body bag over the
sightless eyes of Jesse Katsopolis."

ROSEANNE: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON (reviewed by Jennifer Malkowski,
overall score 83/100):
"In one of the most heart-wrenching storylines of the season she must
choose between her non-refundable trip to Vegas and showing up for a
shift that will allow her to keep the job. Since the Conners have so
little money and so little leisure time, this plot really makes one feel
the frustrations of the kind of sacrifices people without much money
have to make on a daily basis."

THE SECRET LIFE OF GEISHA (reviewed by Brendan Babish, overall
score 90/100):
"What elevates The Secret Life of Geisha above mere titillation for
Asian fetishists is its ability to conflate the story of geishas with
greater Japanese history and culture. In addition to a peek into the
life of geishas, this film is probably as good a primer for this
inscrutable country as you will find on DVD."

SIX FEET UNDER: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON (reviewed by Patrick Naugle,
overall score 97/100):
"Although the show only lasted five seasons it was a wonderful start of
the new millennium; months after I watched the final harrowing episode,
I'm still haunted by what the show (and its creator Alan Ball) had to
say about life, death and how fast time passes us all by."
