Seems like it limits your ability to work in many situations.
I am very thankful I have a camera that works well in low-
light situations. (Sony DSR-300) It has been a competitive
advantage many times.

And remember that the limiting factor for video cameras
is not necessarily the lens, but the imaging device and
circuits.

The XL2 (and its cousins) have been described by many
as a "video chainsaw in clown colors" Give me a dowdy-
looking small gray/black box any day for remaining in the
background and not becoming the center of attention. :-)
