 The new HD players will work. They do support a flag that can
 OPTIONALLY reduce resolution from 1920x1080 to 960x540 (just a bit
 higher than DVD's 720x480.) That said, most of the studios have said
 they will not use that flag for awhile since they are aware that not all
 HD TV's support digital connection with HDCP yet.
