This is true ... sometimes...
I went to the official Apple Store and ordered two 1gig sticks of ram
(SoDIMM) for my mac mini - price $400 ($30 to install)
I went to the local Frys Electronics , gave them the specs of my ram and two
1 gig sticks were $170. ($30 to install)
Its running fine and dandy with the 1/2 price "PC" ram
