40hrs will be plenty and I doubt I'll need to record two channels at once.
My main concern is cost, I just need it to be cheap and reliable.

I had a look round my local Currys and Maplin this afternoon to see what
they had. Currys had the Digifusion FVRT90 for 95, which basically appears
to be the same model as the 120 Ferguson minus the Top-up TV card slot.
Maplin had a Yamada DTV3000 twin tuner 80Gb for 130, though the only
reviews of this that come up on Google seem to be in French.

I'm most tempted by the Digifusion right now, mainly for the price. I just
need to do some more Googling to get other users opinions.
