ALL PURPOSE CULTURAL CAT GIRL NUKU NUKU DASH!: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION
(reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall score 75/100):
"All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku Dash! is stultifyingly similar
to most other anime. It's all here: the magical girl transformations,
the awkward teenager with a live-in hottie maid, the military
corporation with a shadowy board of directors, the 'monster of the week'
fights in the streets...the only thing missing is an alien invasion that
threatens Mother Earth."

DICE: TO THE RESCUE (VOLUME 3) (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall
score 83/100):
"Any given episode goes something like this: a problem pops up, the F-99
crew shows up, people balk at their ages, and then they save the day.
It's a dumbed-down version of Transformers mixed with Scooby Doo."

FULL METAL PANIC? FUMOFFU: FULL METAL PANDEMONIUM! (VOLUME ONE)
(reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 84/100):
"This show is a whole lot of fun, but there's not much to it. It's loud,
brassy, and moves really fast. Kaname and Sousuke always cause trouble
in the school, and then somehow figure out a way to get out of it. If
you like silly antics in high school then you should find this amusing."

THE IRRESPONSIBLE CAPTAIN TYLOR: THE COMPLETE SERIES (reviewed by Bryan
Byun, overall score 95/100):
"It's easy to write this series off as just another ho-hum 'space war
epic' drama. Don't. The series is so much more than that. At the very
least, it's entertaining, hilarious, and a lot of fun to watch."

KYO KARA MAOH!: GOD SAVE OUR KING (VOLUME 3) (reviewed by Brett Cullum,
overall score 90/100):
"The art is crude by modern standards, but the show doesn't suffer much
from this simplicity. Truth be known, with such a circuitous plot I am
pleased something about Kyo Kara Maoh! is straightforward. The series
has raised many questions over these last three volumes, and not
answered any of them."

THOSE WHO HUNT ELVES: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION (reviewed by Rob
Lineberger, overall score 81/100):
"Is there anything, anything, geekier than watching an anime series
devoted entirely to getting elves naked? Please don't answer -- I've
just spent the last several hours doing just that."

YUGO THE NEGOTIATOR: PAKISTAN (VOLUME 2) (reviewed by Brett Cullum,
overall score 94/100):
"If you're looking for a serious, realistic anime that goes for broke,
Yugo the Negotiator is the right title to seek out. It breaks the rules
of anime because it deals with a subject ripped straight out of the
headlines, and respects the material."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/yugonegotiatorvol2.php
YUMERIA: ENTER THE DREAMSCAPE (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Mac McEntire,
overall score 80/100):
"The big draw is no doubt the sci-fi action. Here are five hot babes
clad in kinky-looking body armor who fly through the air and blast the
heck of out of giant battleships."
