No thanks. I don' trust Panasonic products generally and, particularly,
would not mix Panasonic tape with Sony tape in my camera. Though it's not
true of all of Panasonic's formulations, I've heard enough anecdotal
evidence (from people not trying to sell tape) of heads getting gummed up
that I wouldn't take the risk, just to save $1.50 on a tape.

I shoot with a VX2000 -- I can't use DVCAM. As for performance, in several
hundred hours, I've never had a single drop-out. I can't think of any
reason not to continue using what I've been using.
