I have one, it is superb, I have it connected to my modded xbox as a media
centre, to my xbox360 as a high def, and to my tivo.
The picture is very very good, even on SD (which, considering that is what
you will use most). The Tivo recompresses the picture so you usually get a
small quality drop, but even so, on the nice big 50 inch screen it is
lovely.
I havent connected it to a pc, I ahve heard the vga connection is a bit
limited, but it does have dvi/hdmi, which doesnt suffer.
It has a fan which turns on when it is switched on, i barely/never notice
it, but some people have considered it slightly off putting.
I have just asked the swmbo if there is any negative she can think of, and
she uhmed and erred, and the only thing she could think of was that it takes
about 20 seconds to turn on, from when you turn it off (the picture doesnt
come straight on), but other then that, she really likes it.
