I have a Philips dvdr80 and have just discovered a strange problem.
Sometimes when recording from tape it gets confused and records in 16:9.
The tape is home movie but for one 5 min section it has decided that the
picture is widescreen and therefore produces a letter box picture with short
and fat people ,
Any idea why or how to cure this?
