If you want good quality DVD recordings then buy a DVD recorder that's
not a combo. Most combo units are not good quality. If you have a lot
of video tapes then chances are that you already have a VCR recorder
that you could use to make recordings from using a DVD recorder.
Also you have a better choice of options when choosing a DVD recorder.
