Killfiling is a function of your news-reader. Since you
appear to be using the Google online version (as contrasted
with a real NNTP client), you likely don't have that feature
available.
Usenet is NOT "worldwide-web" based. It is a separate
protocol, and Google has made a proprietary web-based
view of it. Google's web service has only limited features.
