Me too Bill!
I have 2 JVC GYX2Bu's and they are very heavy. I also have 2 of the
Bogen 510 heads, both on a fairly nice set of Bogen sticks and they
work extremely well and smooth for me.

I'm always amazed when newbies jump on this group asking about Canon
XL-1s or any of those other hand held cameras. IMHO the only cameras
that can really be stabilized for hand held shooting is one you can
rest on your shoulder. Just my 2 cents.

Not sure about this but I don't think the 510 is a true fluid head.
