Ok maybe I'm just to dumb here. I have a BUD system with DVB receiver
slaved to 4dtv, dual feed. C band and KU band work great including DCII
channels on both C and KU band. I guess where I have a problem is when
searching satellites. When searching C band on the Fortec Lifetime, I
have the setting at 5150 for lnb and Discq is switched OFF. I can get
channels.For KU band I have the LNB to 10750 and Disq switch is in the
2 position. Is that the correct way to search?
I seem to be confused on searching satellites using both c and KU.
The manual is not much help here for me.
I seem to be missing all of the good wildfeeds due to the satellite
list programmed in the Fortec are not in memory and I cant seem to add
any without confusion.
I wish I could use just a generic satellite or setting to search all
of the transponders on a particular satellite. I'm I just making brain
surgery out of someting simple?
Any pointers on searchinig would be a big help for me since I'm
oldschool in receivers and learning DVB. Thanks all
