i hear that the reason the region 1 season 2 set is out later is
1. to coincide with season 3 on us tv (late september/early october)
2. to add more extras ( the season 1 box set extras had to be completed
before they had even shot half of the season which is the reason for lack of
commentaries and deleted scenes from later episodes)
so... if u want plain vanilla the region 2 will do it but if u want all the
extras (not sure if the r2 will have the new branching features too) better
off waiting for r1 or download them (u can legally too now, as if!!) and buy
later

p.s. did the uk release have the J.J. branched commentary where he stops the
film and shows u all the behind the scenes stuff?
