Sure, it might be personal preference but not the FACT that wma is
definitely LESS QUALITY SOUND at the same bitrate as MP3.
So it is your personal preference if you want to put up with low
quality music or not, just to save some space.
WMA files are tinny and horrible. There is no depth to the sound. I
suppose if you are just using them for a portable player and want to
fit lots of them on it then it is a good idea. For the long term
storage of music that you value and listen to, Don't ruin it by
converting to wma. Like someone also said...it is made much worse when
you take an MP3 and then make it into WMA. You are then compressing the
file two times and the loss if quite significant, resulting in a very
poor sound quality!!
