The CyberHome recorder you are having trouble with is actually an Ilo
recorder from China http://www.iloservice.com/

As I said on another group the sync problem is normal for ilo
recorders.

Try Panasonic or Pioneer

I had the same sync problem and solved it by purchasing the Panasonic
DMR-EH50S This recorder works flawlessly.
