The analogy is quite applicable.
If you drive a car you can't just claim to "self insure", or you will spend
a lot more than you save in fines, or getting your car back from the impound
lot..

But,...that's in the real world,.....not on eekbay.


You do realize you are talking about sellers on eekbay?
Where probably a fraction of 1% care less about anything but getting every
penny they can.

This "self insurance" is just another of many scams that go on daily that
eekbay turns a blind eye to.
