If you like gross movies with gore and such, I think you'll like The Fly.
It's an intriguing and, ultimately, sad story that is well executed.
As for the original "butterfly ending", personally I think it was a silly
idea, and am glad it was dropped....the execution of the "butterfly gag" was
also horrible, so doubly glad it was dropped!
Once you finish watching the movie (at night with the lights off!!) you
definitely have to watch all the extras on the second disc to really
appreciate it's history and the effects that went into it....pretty
impressive for 1996!
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
