Entirely depends on the speed of your PC and DVD reader/burner.
If it is a copy protected DVD (most are) then you will have to "decrypt" it.
The length of this process is again dependant on the speed of your PC. I
can back up a full DVD, including decrypting, in about 1/2 hour, and it can
probably be done even quicker by some.
