Both your choices are fine. Stay away from Cyberhome(ILO) stuff.
The audio and video do not sync properly. I made copies of DVD's with
the ILO and the video was of poor quality compared to the Panasonic
mentioned below.
I bought a Panasonic DMR-EH50 and I would recommend this one also.
