It seems like you want some app to affect the MP3 in any way, as long
as it also has the effect of resetting the time count.
To clarify...
If it were me, I'd use the app "MP3Trim" to add .1 seconds of silence
at the end of each song. Then I'd check if that didn't also happen to
fix the time problem.
