Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2, THE BLUE
IGUANA, THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: FAIRY IDOL, I LOVE YOUR WORK, JEFF
CESARIO: YOU CAN GET A HOOKER TOMORROW NIGHT, KANSAS: WORKS IN PROGRESS,
LIFESPAN, and RED RYDER: DOUBLE FEATURE VOLUME 10:
BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2 (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score 40/100):
"If you enjoyed the stifling slapstick of the first film, if you think
anyone dressed up like an aged granny ogling women and bumping and
grinding is non-stop hilarity, if watching the entire post-modern racial
dynamic of the United States being reduced to a master and servant
scenario puts you in stitches, you might enjoy this movie. Otherwise
it's 90 minutes of mindless dreck."

THE BLUE IGUANA (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall score 70/100):
"The Blue Iguana is bad in every way you can imagine, and finds new ways
to be bad that you couldn't have fathomed in advance."

THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: FAIRY IDOL (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 80/100):
"It really is a great little cartoon, sporting more than a few laugh out-
loud moments for your grown-up reviewer, but as the runtime expands, the
charm proportionally decreases."

I LOVE YOUR WORK (reviewed by Michael Rankins, overall score 63/100):
"Dreary, emotionally uninvolving, and at times incomprehensible, I Love
Your Work takes an interesting theme and purees it -- along with the
viewer's brain -- into pistachio pudding."

JEFF CESARIO: YOU CAN GET A HOOKER TOMORROW NIGHT (reviewed by Rob
Lineberger, overall score 78/100):
"Cesario capably panders to the common denominator, which makes his
routine approachable if...well, routine."

KANSAS: WORKS IN PROGRESS (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score
75/100):
"Unlike Styx, who mixed metal with the maudlin to walk a fine line
between pap and crap, or Emerson, Lake, and Palmer who tried to turn
every piece of classical music into an extended synthesizer solo, Kansas
wanted to marry the finer elements of rock and prog to create a kind of
epic canvas of harmonious accord."

LIFESPAN (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall score 74/100):
"Lifespan's downfall begins almost before it begins."

RED RYDER: DOUBLE FEATURE VOLUME 10 (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall
score 70/100):
"Just how quaint and traditional are these movies? At one point, Red
enters a saloon, and 'Camptown Races' is actually playing on the piano.
Now that's a good, old fashioned western!"
