If that was all, I'd have no issue (and also little hope that he'll get
what he wants). But all he did what express the desire that Fox "do
something" for him, and his feeling that he was being "pissed on."

That's all reasonable and I agree with it. Maybe you should write the
letter to Fox instead of him.
