Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a DVD/HDD record system which meets the following
requirements:
- Timeshift HDD Recording
- EPG (programming)
- possibility to play MPEG/DivX files on CD-R/DVD-R and copy them onto
the internal HDD
- playback of MP3 / WMA files, copy and organize them on harddisk
(jukebox function), ID3 Tag support or support of long filenames
- viewing of jpeg files from CD, copy and organizie them on harddisk
with thumbnails / preview function
I'm not sure if any of the commercial players available on market is
able to fullfill my requirements. I found only two which seem to be
suitable for me:
- KiSS DP 558
- LG RH S 7700
I think the most flexible solution would be a home theater PC running
Windows Media Center Edition (aargh!) or a linux system. But I think the
disadvantage of such a system is a high power consumption and high costs
(it shouldn't be more expensive than 600 EUR / Dollar), or am I wrong?
Can anyone suppose me something?
