Two things: first, there's nothing actually wrong with having a
monopoly. It's how you use it that dictates if it's a good thing or a
bad thing. Nevertheless, 70% probably doesn't constitute a monopoly.
Second, Apple are not forcing people to buy the iPod, people are
*deciding* to buy it.
It's not Apple's fault if the other music services and players are seen
by most people as being lame.
