No. Ideally, Microsoft and Apple should come together and draft a new
DRM music format that will be compatible on all future MP3 players,
whether iPod or any other brand - and license the playback part of the
technology to player manufacturers really chrap. They will still make a
killing off of their online music stores'licensing.
And in a few years, people would have the peace of mind of knowing that
no matter where they buy their music, it will play on their MP3 player.
