HD Ready means:
1. Minimum amount of lines = 720 (So 852x480 doesn't cut it!)
2. Can accept HD via analog YPbPr (Component), DVI/HDMI (1280x720 50/60Hz
(720p) or 1920x1080 50/60Hz 1080i) + HDCP
You may be able to downscale to 480 lines and display 'HD' but it kind of
defeats the object! I suggest you consult with your local trading standards
and take the appropriate actions to get a refund from the vendor... They're
obviously deliberately misleading customers with the current 'craze'!
