Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BAZAAR BIZARRE, THE BOOTH, CET AMOUR-
LA, GIRL NEXT DOOR, ONE MISSED CALL 2, SEE THIS MOVIE, SUKEBAN DEKA: THE
MOVIE, and VISITING HOURS:

BAZAAR BIZARRE (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall score 85/100):
"That's right, this is a serial killer documentary with musical
numbers."

THE BOOTH (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall score 90/100):
"As I get older and, I'm hoping, wiser, I find it's harder and harder to
sit back and just get swept away by a movie's engrossing story. But this
nifty little Japanese horror import got me. It got me good."

CET AMOUR-LA (reviewed by Jesse Ataide, overall score 90/100):
"The DVD cover art seems to promise a rather banal and trite
intergenerational romance, but the film inside is magical, haunting --
the kind of film that wraps around you like a blanket while you're not
paying attention."

GIRL NEXT DOOR (reviewed by Patrick Bromley, overall score 80/100):
"Scene after scene, we watch Valentine going home to her cats or
returning to her hotel room alone. We like Stacy Valentine and, watching
the movie, want her to be happy. It's too bad that she doesn't seem to
feel the same way."

ONE MISSED CALL 2 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 83/100):
"The whole 'hearing-your-final-seconds' curse is pretty cool, and the
mystery behind the mumbo-jumbo, while complex and not necessarily
coherent, is suitably atmospheric."

SEE THIS MOVIE (reviewed by Patrick Bromley, overall score 72/100):
"I guess my biggest problem with the genre is that it seems kind of
lazy -- it takes that old 'write what you know' maxim to another level
of obviousness, and their built-in self-reflexivity passes for clever
too often."

SUKEBAN DEKA: THE MOVIE (reviewed by Geoffrey Miller, overall
score 76/100):
"The joy in Sukeban Deka: The Movie comes in the unpredictably ludicrous
sequences. When our heroes counter an attack from a helicopter (one of
the occupants is firing a rocket launcher, natch) with frickin' yo-yos,
it's pretty much impossible to keep a straight face."

VISITING HOURS (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 84/100):
"The movie allows for solid doses of character development mixed with
ingenious twists now and then. Still, we've basically got a 'stalk and
slash' formula film complete with audio cues designed to make you jump
when things get tense rather than truly scare you."
