Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of CAPTAIN VIDEO, MASTER OF THE
STRATOSPHERE, DANGERMOUSE: THE COMPLETE SEASONS THREE AND FOUR, THE
DEVIL'S PLAYTHING, GUERRILLA: THE TAKING OF PATTY HEARST, I'M DANCING AS
FAST AS I CAN, LUST IN SPACE, and PULSE:
CAPTAIN VIDEO, MASTER OF THE STRATOSPHERE (reviewed by Erick Harper,
overall score 65/100):
"For a purported 'Master of the Stratosphere,' Captain Video spends a
vexing amount of time kicking around remote dirt roads on Earth. Also,
it seems bad form for such a heroic figure to hoodwink the audience time
and again with dishonest cliffhanger conclusions to each chapter."

DANGERMOUSE: THE COMPLETE SEASONS THREE AND FOUR (reviewed by James A.
Stewart, overall score 77/100):
"The technical quality of this transfer is, well, crappy. With lots of
grain and some images with double-vision, the picture looks like it was
taped off one of those UHF stations that didn't come in so well on the
rotating rooftop antenna."

THE DEVIL'S PLAYTHING (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 63/100):
"Retro Shock-O-Rama studios has unearthed this early Swedish '70s
sexploitation film about lesbian vampires and...hmmmm...you know, it
strikes me I could probably leave the entire review at that and call
it a day."

GUERRILLA: THE TAKING OF PATTY HEARST (reviewed by Ian Visser, overall
score 75/100):
"This may be a film about the kidnapping of Patty Hearst, but the
failure to place the event in perspective with the larger story hampers
the viewers understanding. "

I'M DANCING AS FAST AS I CAN (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall
score 55/100):
"This semi-autobiographical tale by the real Barbara Gordon -- a TV
producer who was hooked on tranquilizers -- reeks of sanctimonious
preaching in the Nancy Reagan era of Just Say No."

LUST IN SPACE (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 60/100):
"The plot is nothing more than an excuse to showcase a bunch of fairly
attractive naked women fondling and groping each other. It is what it
is, it knows what it is, and it does not pretend to be anything other
than what it is."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/lustinspace.php
PULSE (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 55/100):
"If anyone (or anything) had bothered to stop and think for a second,
this movie would have been over by the end of the second reel."
