I earned my retirement, same as everyone else. I earned for it through pain
and suffering, blood sweat and tears. I earned it through fighting in two
wars. I earned it by being uprooted and moved all over the world on a
continual basis. I earned it by doing what needed to be done. I am also
paying for my own retirement. The part of my retirement that is not covered
under my disability, I pay taxes on. I paid a portion of each of my active
duty paychecks into the system for my retirement. You pay into it too, but
it does not pay me. I paid for my own reitrement. It is money that I paid
in ever the course of my service.
Your choice of emplyment and retirement benefits are yoru concern, not mine.
