Some random ideas; maybe one will help...
I assume you mean that you disconnected it from the mains, which is
what I would have recommended: disconnect it, leave it disconnected for
a half hour, then plug it in again.
There might be another trick: disconnect it from the mains, and as you
plug it in again, hold a button on the front panel down. It could be
the power button, or it could be another button - this varies with the
device (if it exists at all).
Is there a little hole on the front to inset a paper clip into, so as
to eject the disc? Are you willing to remove the cover and manually
force the tray open? Once you get it open and the disc out, it might
work OK.
