It partly depends on the camera. My camera does progressive, and will shoot
either in P25 for Europe standards, or P30 for US standards.

Some NLEs can compensate. I have shot in 480i60 and made a full production
in NTSC (Adobe Premiere Pro), then burned in PAL with satisfactory results.
It took a bit of tweaking to get the edges in line and such. Do-able, but
not the best.

I would say research the camera and make sure that it will shoot in a
PAL-compatible format.
