I Have a five year old Pioneer DV-444s which was given to me as a gift
by a relative, who now cannot remember where they got it from.
I know it is multi-region (that was my only requirement when asking for
a player, I had no idea about stuff like RCE then). I've heard that to
make Pioneers multi-region they are flashed/chipped, but does this make
them RCE compatible too? How can I find out if my player is RCE
compatible (other than putting in a RCE dvd, which I don't have at the
moment).
