If you do a straight transfer via 1494/Firewire, only do cuts and don't add
effects, titles, correction, transitions or anything else that requires
rendering, and export back out to DV-codec AVI (or play to your camcorder
directly from the Premiere Pro timeline), you won't lose any quality.
