Hello,
I am trying to use audible.com's audio book services from a Debian
box. The files are in a propritary format (*.aa) but from what I've
read on the Internet there may be a way to use lame to convert them to
mp3. What I need to do is download the audio books and put them on my
Creative MuVo mp3 player. On this webpage
(http://www.tongfamily.com/music/lame_settings_f.php) there is an
explaination of the Audible format and a tip on using lame to convert
them. When I use the technique that's described on the webpage lame
will seg fault. Can anybody offer a way to use lame correctly for this
or another way to put these files on a MuVo mp3 player from Linux.
Thanks in advance.
