OK getting away from their arguing, I have a super quiet Plextor
PX-716A, the fan in my system makes more noise than the drive does and
the drive is running faster than 1x and it also has a "silent mode"
for being even more quiet... not that I can hear a difference over the
fan since I can't hear the dive at all! Hope that helps.
