Apple aren't in business to prop up Creative. If Creative want to compete
with Apple then they (or someone) needs to create a series of players that
are more enjoyable to use than an iPod, coupled to a music service that offers
the choice and ease-of-use of the iTunes/iTMS combo. So far none of them have.
In fact none of them have come close.
And please don't say that Apple have locked the market out because that's
simply not true. The record labels are not exclusively tied to Apple AFAIK, so
they're free to sell their stuff to anyone else.
