Oh, for fuck's sake stop banging on this drum. No, you can't use
Napster on an iPod. If you want to use another source of online music
than the iTMS then you don't buy an iPod in the first place. And you
know what? Most people know this. And still buy iPods.
*You* can't understand why this is, putting it down to Apple using some
sort of Jedi mind trick (or 'clever marketing' as you put it) to force
people to buy iPods. You seem to think that most people then think "Oh
no! It's so restrictive! I wish I hadn't bought it!" but that simply
isn't the case.
Get over it.
