The freq. could be higher. I have no way of knowing how accurate the
spectral view in Audition is, and I no longer have bench equipment that will
let me know. However, the stuff I wrote earlier about FM modulation was
wrong upon further examination, a product of the way the spectral image is
formed I suspect, since that's currently my only tool. I think it is a
simple 15 kHz +/- sine wave. Could this be what the news stories are
talking about? I expected there to be some buzziness to it.
