Even multi-dollar, it's still a small factor in the final retail price. DVD
discs have been sold at retail for $1, yet most new releases retail at
around $20, with an even higher MSRP. It's the cost of the *content* that
makes up the majority of the price that studios sell the discs for, which
is why DVDs drop in price the older they get, regardless of any change in
manufacturing.
