A "printer transport mechanism"? It's a print *server*, it even says that
on the page, it's in the name of the device.
And I never said it wasn't used in embedded industrial applications. I
pointed out it wasn't used in consumer devices though. And I pointed out
it wasn't used in conjuction with the multitude of other PC devices that
the Toshiba uses in its box, unless it was a server or something else like
a computer.
I also pointed out that the chip was used in some PCs, counter to your
claim that it never was.
