The odd political debate is one thing, but this kind of cheap shot is
another. There is no evidence that this was liberal / conservative
issue. In fact, the media pile on to any story based on how "hot" it
is, regardless of political angle, and that's true of both Watergate and
Monica Lewinsky, and likely "niggardly".
Secondly, I can't think of any better example of the pot calling the
kettle black than conservatives complaining about "political
correctness". Dixie Chicks, anyone? Anyone care to discuss global
warming or contraception and AIDS? Burning the flag? Or, for God's
sake, Stewy's little naked ass on "Family Guy"? The Coppertone girl?
Of course, it's always everyone else who is an extremist....
Sorry Richard, with a bit of effort I can be sanguine about the odd pot
shot, but then tell me that you are opposed to radio stations banning
the Dixie Chicks for their little "politically incorrect" statement, and
I'll take it all back. And tell me when Liberty University invites a
guest speaker from the other side...
