I want to buy a dvd player/ vcr combo.
I really don't want to spend too much since I am getting it for my
vacation house and only use it 2 or 3 times a month.
I do want one with a zoom feature on the dvd. The zoom icon needs to
be able to be turned off while viewing "very" narrow letter box movies
on a regular shape tv. (I only like to zoom in a little, not "all the
way", so it doesn't cut off too much of the side. 1.5x or 2x usually
works pretty well).
It must play all dvd formats. dvd, dvd-r / rw, dvd+r / rw.
I would also like the vcr to have a digital tuner if possible. I
know tv stations change from analog to digital very soon and would like
to be able to receive the digital signal.
Suggestions? TIA, mes.
