Bought a Zenith Z20LA7R 20 inch LCD ED TV.
Hooked it up to a Philips DVP 3050V DVD/VCR Player - no problems.
Later decided that I also needed to record TV programs.
Bought a Philips DVD 3390 DVD Player/Recorder.
Followed the generic instructions for connecting the DVD/VCR Player to
the DVD Player/Recorder, spent a lot of time fiddling with possible
options, but I'm unable to view or hear anything from the DVD/VCR
Player.
A. Does anyone know if the marriage of these two Philips products is in
fact possible? Is there some magic switch I'm overlooking?
B. If it is possible to connect these two Philips products, will it
then be possible to play a Video or DVD on the DVD/VCR Player while
recording a program on the the DVD Player/Recorder?
Thanks for any input on this issue.
