Theoretically, yes it is possible. Reasonably, it is extremely unlikely. The
problem is hardware related, there's only one decoder chip, and it's only
powerful enough to handle one (stereo) track at a time. So from a realistic
point of view it is possible to have one play 2 mono tracks, but only 1
stereo track. If the power of the chips involved ever rises (which it
probably won't, they'll lower power consumption instead) then it may become
possible.
