I understand about "safe title" areas when you are dealing with
television but what about if you are doing a version for film festivals
only.
Should I use the same "safe title" areas for subtitles for something
that I intend only to be projected on to a screen from a BetaSP tape.
And does the type have to be as big.
When you project - there appears to be more real estate that you can
use, and the subtitles will be much bigger than if they appear on
television.
Your opinions would be helpful
